Earth Day with Adamah Detroit

Sunday, April 21, 2024
2-4pm

Johnson Nature Center
3325 Franklin Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302

Join Adamah Detroit at Johnson Nature Center for a celebration of Earth Day! Earth Day and Passover both celebrate the Earth, renewal, and the coming of Spring. As we tell the story of the Exodus from Egypt, and recount the plagues of the Passover story, we’re thinking about the modern-day challenges plaguing our Earth and the health of our planet and our neighbors. We invite our extraordinary community to lean into the connections between Earth Day and Passover and gather with us for an afternoon of stewardship and connection. Our community will come together for some brief Jewish environmental learning before jumping into land stewardship volunteer activities. The Nature Center Team will welcome us to their beautiful space, and we will help prepare the land for the Summer Season to come. All ages are welcome!

The Nature Center will also have a table vendor market available to explore before and during our program.

Come for community, stewardship, and the chance to take in the Michigan Spring weather. We hope to see you there!

Registration is free. Adamah Detroit is happy to provide this opportunity to support the climate action in SE Michigan. We would be so grateful if you would consider supporting our work.
