Walking Toward Shabbat with Adamah Detroit

Join Adamah Detroit for a walk to bring in Shabbos along Detroit’s Dequindre Cut, near the Riverfront. We’ll meet at the Outdoor Adventure Center and walk the paved walkway up the cut and back, identifying plants along the way. Carly Sugar of Adamah Detroit will guide us through the basics of plant identification, and local edible and medicinal plants.

Come gather with friends new and old and feel the calming, restorative impacts of time outside together! The walk begins and concludes together, with less than a mile of walking and contemplative time in between.

Please dress for the weather and bring any water, snacks and sunscreen you may need.
