Adamah LA Youth Empowerment is hosting a Reverse Tashlich Beach Cleanup in partnership with Moishe House and Repair the World at Venice Beach, meeting outside BAR Center at the Beach, located at 201 Ocean Front Walk 4-5:30pm on Sunday, September 28th. It will be a great way to connect with nature, build relationships with the community, and greet the new year. By filling this form out, you are registered for the event.
Repair the Sea (repairthesea.org) is hosting their 8th annual international day of Reverse Tashlich, meaning by participating in this event, you will be connected with Jewish people across the world working to clean up the earth and the sea together. Instead of throwing our sins metaphorically into waterways for the new year, please join us in picking up "sins" (aka trash) to improve public spaces for our community, as well as beautify our planet.
Snacks and refreshments will be served! We will provide trash pickers but will NOT be providing plastic bags nor plastic gloves. Please, in the spirit of minimizing waste, bring your own disposable bags and reusable gloves from home. We also recommend close-toed shoes, a reusable water bottle, and a hat.
